Luke Prest

Luke Prest is an Artist and Illustrator. Born in Sheffield in 1986, he was raised and educated just over the county border in Dronfield, North East Derbyshire.

After leaving school, Luke built a career in technical Architectural drawing and later branched into Visualisation, building a successful business freelancing to local architectural practice’s in CGI and early stage concept design.

In tandem with his architectural career, Luke continued to develop a ‘sideline’ in illustration and art and has been publishing his work since 2011.

During that time, he has been profiled in several newspapers and magazines, been interviewed on BBC radio, sold works to aristocracy and international sportsmen and been commissioned by football clubs, household brands, local business’ and many private collectors.

He has turned his hand to book covers, murals and sweet wrappers amongst other things.

Luke’s most successful work is related to his love of Sheffield United. He has worked both for and alongside the club to capture moments of recent history, culture and folklore and his work adornes the walls of thousands of Unitedites from Sharrow to Australia.

When he's not at the drawing board, Luke enjoys spending time with his wife and children and is an accomplished runner and member of the management committee of Dronfield Running Club.
